Iván Argote’s installation, films and performances generate reflexions about how we relate with history and politics in our personal level. He often uses architectural or monumental forms to propose experiences to the public where they can expand the questions he formulates. In this installation at Regent’s Park, Argote proposes three bridges made in steel and concrete, with poems engraved that one can read while crossing them, giving to this short passage an introspective and thoughtful sense. Argote uses these bridges as metaphors about the idea that there are ways to connect and conciliate with others, especially in these days of polarisation… also, some people say that once you cross the bridges a dream comes true.
