Como lavar la loza coherentemente is a solo exhibition by Iván Argote, curated by Santiago Rueda, presented in 2015 at NC Arte in Bogotá. The exhibition takes its title from an everyday domestic action—washing dishes—and turns it into a conceptual and political question. What does it mean to act coherently in a world shaped by inequality, inherited violence, and contradictory social norms? Through irony and apparent simplicity, Argote introduces doubt into gestures that are usually perceived as neutral or harmless.
The works presented combine sculpture, installation, text, and subtle spatial interventions, using humor and tenderness as critical tools.
